Meet your piercer
Annelore has been fascinated by the world of body modification from a very young age. In 2017 she started her apprenticeship, and hasn’t stopped learning since. She’s had the chance to work alongside some very experienced piercers both in Ghent and Rotterdam. She finds it very important to keep striving for more knowledge and to try and keep improving her techniques continually to make sure her customers are being given the best possible service.
When getting pierced by Annelore, she will do everything within her power to make sure you feel safe and welcome. For her, a big part of the attraction to piercing has always been the ritualistic aspect, and she wants to make sure the experience is equal to the result.
In the piercing room, her approach is gentle as can be. She aims to always take her time to fully focus on the person sitting in front of her. As far as the technical part goes, Annelore usually prefers working freehand, which means the use of tools is limited. She applies an aseptic technique, and dons sterile gloves for every piercing. She uses only the sharpest and sleekest piercing blades, and hand polished, implant grade titanium or 14ct/18ct gold jewelry which is either threadless or internally threaded.
Besides piercing, Annelore is also part of the Pink Flamingo Fly suspension crew.
She is fluent in Dutch and English.
