How old do I need to be to get a piercing?

We pierce earlobes ages 6 and up. Cartilage piercings are for ages 14 and up. Genital and nipple piercings are for ages 18 and up.
If you are younger than 16, please bring a parent or legal guardian with you.

How do I enter the shop?

Witchblades piercing is located at Studio Rune & Ritual, and has a separate entrance. The official address is Begijnhoflaan 59, but the entrance is around the corner in the Jan Verspeyenstraat. You can use this as a reference point in Google Maps. Walk up the steps, ring the doorbell and we will come and get you.
Don’t panic if we don’t open the door within seconds, especially if you’re early we may be focusing on a customer in the piercing room.

May I bring a friend?

We understand you might get nervous for your appointment, so you are welcome to bring one friend. In order to keep a serene atmosphere, we ask you not to bring more people, unless of course all of you have booked appointments.

Do you do group appointments?

We do! For appointments up to three people you can simply book in through my booking platform. If there’s more of you that are down for a proper piercing party, please do get in touch via email and we’ll work it out.

Can I enter the shop without an appointment?

We are a boutique shop and value giving our customers a personalized experience and our full attention, which means we work exclusively by appointment and are very strict about this. This includes picking up gift cards, jewelry removal etc. If you have an emergency and our agenda is fully booked, please send us an email and we’ll see what we can do.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Make sure to be well rested, drink plenty of water and have something to eat. If the area you’d like to get pierced is usually covered up, please remember to wear an outfit that is comfortable and appropriate (for example: no high waist jeans or jumpsuits for navel piercings).
Come sober, we will not pierce you if you’re intoxicated.
If you’ve booked a styling appointment, it can be helpful to browse our instagram or pinterest and bring some visuals for inspiration.

What if I’m late?

We understand sometimes things happen beyond our control, but please keep in mind that if you are over 10 minutes late we can’t provide you with the level of service you deserve without it impacting the rest of our schedule. As we don’t like to keep our other customers waiting, being that late will count as a no-show. We will then reschedule, and a fee applies.

Is the shop wheelchair accessible?

To enter Witchblades Piercing, there are three steps without a ramp. However, the main Rune & Ritual entrance at Begijnhoflaan 59 only has a small step and is more accessible. There’s also special parking spots reserved for people with limited mobility in the Jan Verspeyenstraat.

Do you sell giftcards?

We do! You can choose any amount, and they are valid for 12 months. You can book an appointment for picking up your giftcard here or you can send us an email and we’ll ship it to you in the mail.
